Class 3 Rating The Insurance
Services Office Incorporated
(ISO), and the Texas Department
of Insurance, State Fire
Marshal’s Office have listed the
Magnolia Volunteer Fire
Department as a Class Three (3)
Fire Department. This ISO Public
Protection Classification (PPC)
is applied to all properties
within five (5) road miles of a
fire station. This ISO rating is
good, regardless of proximity to
fire hydrants. The MVFD has six
3,000-gallon tanker trucks and
six 750-gallon pumper trucks, as
well as the ability to draft
from ponds, lakes and swimming
pools.
