Today, I had the honor of meeting Kristi Boehm. The citizen in the community that donated pet oxygen masks to Magnolia Fire Department. These pet oxygen masks were used by Magnolia firefighters to save three dogs in a house fire. Kristi started donating pet oxygen masks years ago and has donated to 11 fire stations. She started sending these pet oxygen masks in memory of friends instead of sending flowers. Each set costs about $60.00. She said she wanted to encourage more people to donate pet oxygen masks, because they really do make a difference.
